Hi all,

We can see instant result in other job like coding, designing and development but in SEO we have to wait.Beside that, its very uncertain and totally depends on SEs.So according to me no one can gurantee ranking.What do you link? Please share your ideas.

True, no one can guarantee rankings. But SEO is only half of the story, once thats been done, you need to build links and promote your site.

To contradict the person above. No of course SEO does not guarantee ranking.

Domain authority cannot be SEO'd, it takes time.

Getting a new site out the other site of Google sandbox/suppression effect can be out of your hands.

Thats just two reasons!

To some degree you can guarantee rankings, but it will depend on the market. But this is really not something you want to tell the client. If someone came to me and said they wanted to rank for Green Snow and their domain name is greensnow.com then I already know that I am going to get this site to #1 but I still would not tell the client that. It is better to not guarantee and get the job done then make a guarantee and get embarrassed.

As the search engine's algorithm changes, most of the time, everyday, it is therefore safe to assume that no one would ever master its way of ranking pages on SERP. Thus nobody can guarantee rankings but hard work, patients and persistence.

Getting rankings in simple terms. There are 2 sides:

1. SEO of Page
Think of this as getting Google to understand your page. Follow the link I posted above to find out the specifics of getting Google to understand your pages.

2. Promotion of Page
Think of this as giving Google a reason to list your page. This is basically having quality backlinks to your page, each of which represents a "vote" for your page.

So firstly you need to help Google understand your content, then give it a reason to put you up to the top of the rankings.

I think what edgray's trying to note here are the two factors of Search Engine Optimization.

On-page optimization: this refers to organizing page content and carefully handling keyword density, prominence and proximity on the page. This factor also includes html tags such as title, meta, bold, italic, the h tags and the attributes such as alt on images. Thus making the pages readable and understood by search engine bots.

Off-page optimization: refers to gathering useful and relevant links to boost link popularity. Thus making the site appear more reputable as those links are interpreted as votes or signal. More useful and relevant links pointing to the site would mean possible high rankings on SERP. Though keywords used as anchor text on links must be strictly observed.

I think SEO is good field for generating rank to your site but it takes time and no one can predict how much!! SO the thing is there is no excat time you can say to one as a guaranetee.

Sure, bcz without SEO getting traffic is very difficult, So do proper SEO for the site and get some good traffic

No one guarentee about search engine rankings.SEO works takes time to get the results.so we cannot give any surity about the search engine rankings.The more backlinks and quality,domain age of the site will give high rankings.

Yes, SEO cannot be defined but, It can gurantee. Say, "We can gurantee that your site will rank on TOP # 3 on google for a week " - It is possible to gurantee something like that, However, to be on stable in SEO, there should be continous work. We have to check our ranking always and do some maintence to be stable on the particular rank.

Hi Pal/Buddy,

As far as i know, no one can predict that how much time SEO techniques will take to make your efforts possible. SEO is a slow process to generate traffic (visitor) and make keywords in top in SERP.

one thing i would like to share with you that is somewhere seo works rapidly and somewhere it seems no. because, if you have less competiton then it is possible that you can get high ranking and business rapidly but if there is huge competiton its not possible to make ranking as soon as you want.

you must have see if we works for any mobile, insurance, loan,seo niche sites then we make our best and still fail to achieve our goal.....

so, keep patience whenever do search engine optimization...

one thing if you need business and ranking as quick as possible, use Google Adword PPC Campaign / Yahoo Search Marketing .

i think now you are fully satisfied.........

In fact some ranking results can be guaranteed - for example, it's pretty simple to rank for terms like "pink elephants merrily bouncing off purple clouds", but the question is why would you need that?
