i seen many site on internet who providing seo service for the internet website. who had pr 1 to 2 for their own website.

My question is that. How can they promote other website, whose own website page has low pr? How you trust on it?

what has PR got to do with promoting a website???

Some of the BEST marketing people do not have the time (or the need) to promote their own site(s).

Check me out, I'm page 2 for "free online games" and I have a PR2. There's proof you don't need PR.

PR does not matter, as already mentioned.

I would much sooner buy SEO services from a PR1 site that looks like they know their stuff, then from a PR10 page that boasts their high page rank. They probably claim to give you lots of specially dofollow links too.

:/

You are perfectly right that what help can a SEO site give a person who does not know how to increase their own PR. At first they need to prove themselves by increasing their own PR and then they should go out offering SEO and link building service.

If they think that PR is their ultimate goal, they shouldn't be doing seo in the first place.

Hi

I agree with most of the comments here. Some people do get hung up on PR. It's a myth. I get gobs and gobs and gobs of traffic and my site just now turned PR 3. I was getting traffic as a PR 2.

I think PR is wrong focus. I prefer to spend my time working on things I can have a direct influence over. Also, I've had lots of people wanting to buy ad space from me just to get my PR. They're ads were spammy and I didn't know any better over time. As I learned more, I felt like I was sliming my visitors. After awhile I quit accepting advertisers - only directly-related businesses need apply.

Bottom line? It has been my experience that PR chasers aren't the most ethical people.

You'll have to judge for yourself though. Check out the company's stats and ask to see for products.

The first thing people care about their website is often PR!

And most of the SEO comopanies put PR as one of their most important factor as their gonna achievement!

PR has nothing to do with ranking on SE. Its true there that ranks in the number one spot without having any high PR. And as for the seo services. I advise you to know more about seo first before actually hiring an seo company to do seo for you.
