Hi all,
Id just like to say a few things around how ive managed to get my site above my competetitors on both google and bing in around 2 months.
< This isnt spam, Its just my story that may help others here >

Some quick facts around my site:
- Its a new site ( around 2 months old )
- I DIDNT pay for any SEO, So this may be helpful.
- Example: If i search bing for "live chat software" or "live support software" My site is at the top of page 2. Other combinations bring it up anywhere between pages 1 and 7
- Example2: Search for "real time support software" on bing and its first page. - Imsupporting.com
- Im actually getting hits to my site through search engines now, So it evidently is working.

OK.
Theres a few things you need to do first.
- Get a few backlinks from friends on blogs etc to your site to start with.
- Make sure your meta tags are correct ( Although not reaaaallly important but still needed )
- Dont use images for your content, make sure its readable text so SE's can read your site. " Flash is ok, but still not great for smaller search engines "

Next..
I found a website called website grader. www.websitegrader.com

When i first visited the site and inputted my site url. I got a result of around 40/100

Not good. However it did tell me why it gave me that score.

So, I fixed things.
I fixed the backlinks.
I fixed any images i had on my site.
I fixed my h1 h2 h3 h4 tags
I fixed my blogs etc
etc etc

Now i get a rating of 86/100

Still not great. But i think thats about as much as i can get from it without making any major changes.

However since ive had a rating of 80+ ive noticed my google rank and hits from searchengines have increased.

End..

OK, This isnt a wonder way of getting hits.
Ive only written this to basically tell you guys how i managed to get my site on search engines and actually get hits from them.

Im in no way connected to the site above. I just want to tell you guys to give this method a try if your still failing at SEO and want it done free.

Any thoughts?
Anyone else seen similar results from this site.. Or any other ways you have done it that may even help me?

My post wasnt meant to be a This is how you do it post. It was more. This is how ive done it and do people have any thoughts? Any ideas to add?

The foundation of your link building efforts should be to use a link network that can get you some good quality links with very little effort. In some cases, if you pick the right keywords and have an uncommon niche for your site, this may be all that you need.

But at the very least, using a system that gives you link automatically will at least be a very good foundation for your additional link building efforts.

And it is free in some sense!

Getting back links is not that easy, you still need to search for a site with good PR or Alexa Rank and a do follow site to get a quality back links...

Are your friends in the same niche with u? How many friends' link that u get?

Well about link building, to be honest its useless getting backlinks on your friends blog or whatever, if their site is not of any relevance with yours. PLus, it has to have a high PR as well, to give more value to your links.
