Engaging on SEO helps. Search Engine Optimization is a process of improving the volume and quality of a website on search engines via organic or natural search results. Remember to do On-Page Optimization first then Off-Page Optimization is next.

You could do directory submissions and link building. Of course you still have to consider making quality contents.

Hey Michael,
The number one way to build traffic to your site is by building great content. Content that pleases both visitors AND search engines.

Write as many pages as you can about your entertainment related niche. The more pages you write, the better the chance people will find your site in the search engines. Be sure to do some keyword research and try to use words in your content that are both in demand, and not very competitive.

There's a really great tool called Brainstorm It (note: do a Google search for "brainstorm it 3") that makes keyword research a snap. Brainstorm It comes with a bunch of other great tools that will help you build site traffic. Check it out if you're interested.

Just remember, the more value you provide to your visitors, the more traffic you are going to get. So strive to become the BEST entertainment Web site on the Internet. And you'll be just fine with traffic!
