No, Google and most other search engines do take into account the domains that your link appears on. Generally speaking, it is a little bit better to have your 10 links from 10 different domains that all have the same PR, than just one site.

Well, to answer this, I would say 10 links from different websites is better. Just think 1 person saying 'You are good' 10 times is better or 10 persons saying 'You are good' once is good.

No better is get BL from 10 different domain , and also in ur query mentioned "10 backlinks from 10 different pages of 10 different domain names"... if the BL from 10 diff domain means it will be from different pages.. so no need to mention 10 diff pages...
It's always better to spread the word out on different domains about your site since the result of it is much better. Rather than just secluding yourself to only one.
