How signature in forum is useful for a site?

It could get your site qualified visitors. Assuming you appear to know what you are talking about of course.

In SEO terms, signature links are incredibly low-value: on any given thread there are literally hundreds of other external links diluting any linkjuice that may be passed.

That's not to say they're not helpful: if you're targeting forums that relate to your site, which will hopefully have potential customers on there, and, as Chris suggests, you know what you're talking about, they can bring in some good qualified leads.

Don't count them out, but at the same time don't count on them too much.

they will count as backlinks and you will also get visitors from people in the forums following your links

Signature with your target keywords. Being active on 3 to 5 forums daily could really help your website grow. Creating a unique thread in top 5 webmaster forums and maintain it within one week can give your site at least 30 unique visitors daily depending on how active the thread is.

Seems Goggle frequently index link in forums. So signature in forums counts as your back links. Just be sure you are participating in forums

Forum signatures are good for marketing to those who spot the opportunities by reading them, otherwise they are worthless for linkbuilding value.

^ No forum signature is not worthless in link building. I agree with cecille20 mention above. My old site get ranked in Google by having a quality link which includes my signature link.

It depends of link but all are good to do Ads for your website.
Technically if there is a "nofollow" link on signature, the popularity of your website won't grow up, but if it's not, it's good for the popularity...

They are useful, specially when a person is reputable on particular forum, it can get you a lot of traffic and they are indexed by search engines. this will help you to build links.

For a more attractive signature, always make sure you use LOTS OF CAPITALS, bold letters, mixed with some italics, a smiley or

, @lways mix up some confusing///ch@r@cters\\\ and make some of it really big.
