How about your experience with social bookmarking services? Which social bookmarking service do you find most effective?

I love stumbleupon for making my site index in less than 24 hours after submitting. But does social bookmarking site also counted as backlinks?

Social Bookmarking is a popular way of increasing site traffic. I think dig and delicious are the best social bookmarking websites to increase traffic. The other famous social book marking sites are twitter,Yahoo buzz, Stumble upon, tweetmeme etc

I'm more on getting traffic in propeller and digg. Just join in many groups and add some friends out there. So that your story will be spread in the community.

I once bookmarked an article in Mixx.com, it was indexed the same day and appeared in the SERPs that night. I use it every now and again but overall I think SB sites are pretty poor links. However, Digg is brilliant for getting traffic, as is StumbleUpon.
