True
But I still regard Diretories as almost the same " almost" I emphasis.
I only ever submitted 1 link to a directory and the only result I got was that for some of my search terms I had this directory was suddenly competing with my own sites for search terms (London SEO or something like that was the one I think) whilst my link got buried amongst a load of others.
So, I figured hmm not much point in this directory submission lark as I can just as easily stick a link back in my own internal newtork and put my sites in the search rankings for chosen pharses rather than give some directory that buries my link amongst a heap of others the search engine placing.
I realise Directories are not link farms but quite honestly they are not far off and in my "very limited" (1 link) experience are not really of thta much use.
