I thought I better share this with yall, as this could cause a headache for a lot of SEO people out there.
The problem that I see ( and a few colleagues ) is that, Now google will offer personalized results for everyone "EVEN if they are not logged in"
The problem here is if i search for pies and i always click ginsters , Then google will start to rank them higher for MY results.
So, While this may not be a massive hit for organic visitors it will still cause problems.
Rather than just ranking high because of backlinks, Keywords, reputation etc, People may find themselves ranking high for their searches, but for other peoples searches you wont.
*Note: im by no means an SEO expert, However I do see this hitting the industry slightly
