Take the help of google adword keyword tool to get more related keywords and use some variations in your keywords according to the content and also use variations in anchr text while building links for your site.

You will be better of going for long tail , smaller clumps of searchers for obscure terms until you can really compete with the make money online term.There is always a way and people are doing it now, but you will most likely have to go in through the proverbial back door.

Excellent analogy Chris! Although, I make money online through a site that offers fence and rail products. I certainly am glad I NEVER searched "make money online" when making decisions on my ventures!
