Hello Forum members in here I need your opinions on this.
Between commenting on Dofollow blogs and posting in forums with Dofollow signature links, which one do you think will be able to give better quality backlinks to a site?
I personally think that forum signature will because most forums have high PR but there might be something that I'm still failing to figure out before concluding on this.
So I need you guys to also tell me what you think on this.

Neither... ONLY comment on blogs if you have something RELEVANT to say.
As for sig links, they should be there to attract or interest users to your site for TRAFFIC not some pointless "create more backlinks campaign..."

I vote for Forum Posting.
It gives faster result, if you post on forum related to your site theme not only you get links, but also unique visitors.

PLEASE only comment on blogs if you have something relevant to say, or can add to the conversation! The "comment" function on a blog is there to make the site interactive, not so you can drop useless links to viagra sites on a home improvement blog!
Honestly, I feel the same about forums. If you are here to simply work a linkbuilding project, I hope the mod's ban you from this site!
Forums can be useful for gathering information, learning, and research. Posting in the threads should be to ask questions, or try to add to the conversation. NOT to build links, they really aren't that valuable anyway!

To contradict what others have been saying.. I think forums are best. As long as you're not here for spamming.. Ask interesting, useful questions. Or give useful answers to other peoples questions. And generaly take advantage of the knowledge on offer. This way leaving your link should not be questioned by anyone...
I have been told that using forums gives you an image as somebody who contributes to the online community, and this helps you ranking. I'm sure I will be corrected here if I am wrong though...
But, as far as blogs go. I found it difficult to find ANY blogs related to my niche. So I don't think I'll worry too much about blogging...

You mean to tell me that there are no wedding blogs (assuming the links in your sig are the niche you are speaking of). And I am quite sure there are blogs related to communications (the other two links in your sig).
I have a hard time finding blogs having to do with "fence" but expanding that to DIY, home improvement, and construction opens up a wide variety of quality blogs I read and interact with on a weekly basis.

Did you read that article by Google? It is referring to "spam" comments. There is a big difference between blog commenting and spammers. Genuine comments help the interaction on a blog, which if I am right, is what Web 2.0 is all about (being able to interact).
I still say forum sigs and blog comments aren't used as much to help YOUR site as it is used to network with people and interact. I think most miss that point.

To be honest I do not really bother with the wedding blog. Its not a niche that I'm finding very interesting. I was given it for free. As for Virtual Conference Office, I'm sure there are related blogs but all the ones I have found all have no follow attributes..

@FenceGuy
Yeah I'm sorry for undetailed information but it is related to the question. So they might be aware that they need to create a good comment in blog and not spamming.
Well, okay here's my experienced. I tried doing blog commenting for almost 3 mos. before. And they don't really get indexed by Google. I'm more on getting a quality links coming from a do follow forums.
Also, Blog commenting has no assurance because it is moderated by the owner. Even though I tried commenting a reliable comment they usually reject it. Since my blog is related to them. (Very time consuming)

Strange that I find on the odd time I make a blog post it mostly gets approved, like yesterday for example here > http://www.davidnaylor.co.uk/google-goes-real-time.html
Though I was only commenting to say I didn't agree with the article orginator and wasn't looking for or expecting a backlink. Could not care less either way tbh. If I post on a blog and get a backlink, hmm perhaps a bonus on occasions, but that is not the reason to post.
I have to agree with the above about "Neither".
Most forums backlinks do not actually last long anyhow as they get archived, and mostly forum owners have this set at about a month. Your backlinks in your sig are pretty useless then.
Some forums are longer. some shorter when it comes to archiving, but nevertheless, why bother?
Producing good content or having a few relevant backlinks that are helpful to surfers trying to find things is a much better way to approach things.
EG If you supply "Electrical Engineering in the East Midlands UK" what harm is there in providing recipricol links to "Electrical Engineering in East Midlands USA"? (Or "Electrical Engineering Mid East US").
Blogs and forums should be approached not just for links, but for sharing knowledge and help and as a means of networking with others, perhaps kicking back and having some decent or funny discussions.
Any linking gains or clicks on ads here and there should just be a very small part of things from any perspective. Links (backlink status) and getting your links clicked on others sites should not be the prime objective of your participation.

You are missing the point (I believe) in commenting on blogs. I comment on many "no-follow" blogs as well as a few that don't have "no-follow" attribute on links. Whether or not they follow has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not I comment.
Here are a couple of reasons I comment:
1. I have something to add to conversation (added points, questions, my opinion or experience on the topic) This SHOULD be the number one reason to comment on a blog or a forum.
2. The blog is related to mine in some fashion and people that read that blog may like my comment and click over to my site.
3. Networking/Promotion. I have blogs that I started commenting on 2 years ago that I have built personal relationships with the owners/writers and communicate with them on a regular basis for purposes of brainstorming, bouncing ideas off of them, and help in promoting my own site. These relationships have helped me when launching new sites because they now TRUST me and have no problem announcing to their readers that they should check me out. You can't put a price on that type of advertising. And I really don't think you can get that from MOST forums unless the forum is very specific to your niche (there aren't any for mine).

If I had to pick between blogs and forums, it would be hands down forums all the way. Any good webmaster doing SEO should change it up though.

Personally, I can't wait for the day that when I go to Google, it looks something like this...

Darren - That's brilliant - I may have to save that and add a few more well placed words to elaborate.
