I'm sure someone has mentioned by now but you can use SEOQuake to tell if a link is nofollow or follow. It puts a slash through all no follow links.

And if you find this in the source code. Move your mouse to the close button, click on it and NEVER EVER visit that website again!!!!

So in essense it does exist but what you are saying is that?

-It is not definate if it will have a positive SEO effect

-The effect on real traffic is not positive - therefore a non-existing positive?

Or is the answer simple no - it dosen't exit?

A "dofollow" value for the rel attribute does NOT exist.

There is absolutely no way at all that anything can be added to a site/page/link that will tell any of the Internet search engines that they MUST follow the links and pass "value" on top the target page.
All "instruction" systems such as robots.txt, robots meta, the rel attribute value are exclusion protocols, and read what Google say about the nofollow attribute

You can also install SearchStatus for Firefox. Then just put a checkmark on "Highlight No follow links" and voila!
