ok well both those links take me to 2 different pages...

It's a problem with dynamic websites, Google will try to index as much as possible but, and this happens with blogs a lot, you'll end up with duplicate content, or pages with different URLs that Google thinks has duplicate content.

I'm guessing you might be seeing Google finding pages on your site through different paths.

Have you submitted a sitemap to Google? That might help GoogleBot find all of your pages with the correct URLs.

Firstly - block SEs from accessing the search pages.

secondly - don't drop links in forums with URIs you don't want to appear in the SE index.

Just resubmit your site map and wait for google to re-index the correct page, this is the only solution i can provide as you have not provided the details like whether are you using any redirection or not ? are you using some CMS or Not ? and what is your website which has this problem along with exact problem page.

This might be due to the dynamic nature of your website. I recommend you to block all other pages from robots.txt
