Dear webmaster members,

I have just wrote a new article on how to use psychology to retain readers and wanted to share it. Its pretty honest advice, not full of sales crap and 10 million adsense blocks and I really would love a review on it.

Thanks

Dude...I stopped reading 6 paragraphs down because you are NOT telling the reader anything. No offense but if you just want an excuse just to post links don't try to disguise it is such a transparent fashion...sorry to be so harsh but if you want to suceed you will need to work on creating better content. Maybe hire a writer.

I enjoyed your article though I don't think it involved any SEO. Anyhow, I liked how you followed exactly what you preached and asked to "reread" the article. Keep it up and don't get discouraged.

No offence but I can't really take this seriously unless it is verified by a credible source. Surely if you wanted to integrate "psychology" as you say into your web efforts you shouldn't start with the rather discouraging statement, "I will pretend to be a psychologist for a little while"?

Of course if this is credible then it has some value, but statistically amateur psychologists are full of it so you might find it hard for people to take it seriously

Well I am not a proffesional Psychologist - Hence the joke in the opening line "I am going to pretent to be psychologist for awhile". But I have had a lot of experiance with sales - infact double figures of years in sales and from all the courses I have done and trained new people how to do, you are first taught to understand how people think, which is what this posts about.

It's actually very useful information and entierly up to you if you wish to use it or not, but for the people who do see value in it I hope I can them.

It dosent require a "credible source" for varifiaction as its very logical (and not to hard to understand) if you actually read it properly.

Thanks again for all your opinions positive or negative. It all helps either way. Kind Regards

I'm worried I offended you now, which isn't what I meant to do.

As somebody who also has an amateur interest in psychology, and someone who has also occupied a sales role in the past, I just thought it necessary to point out from my own experience that where certain psychological explanations for certain actions may sound entirely logical, they are often not true.

I think you misunderstood my comment about getting verification from a credible source - my point is that unless these claims you are making are the results of an experiment that you have carried out, then either you have guessed that these things are the right thing to do, or more likely that you have been taught the results of somebody elses experiment in the past. All I'm saying is that before i would implement your techniques onto my websites, I would first want to read the original experiment results and see if the conclusion was one that I am happy to accept.

That's all I meant by having it verified. I require verification from basically everything that I learn on the Internet, because 99/100 sources are about as reliable as wikipedia!

So it wasn't intended as a "negative" reply as you say, as if true it was quite an interesting read, but for my own personal tastes, I am far too cynical about the Internet to just readily accept information

Well I do apologise, I misunderstood your intentions. Thats one thing about forums, its very difficult to understand the tone of a person and some things can come across differently to what is intented. Thank you for the second response.

Thank you again for your review. Although I dont directly have a credible source as I said it is comes from previous learning with a long succesful sales career.

I am glad you found the read enjoyable and appreciate your feedack.
