Link building helps! It is the process of creating inbound links by means to ones own website. There are a lot of ways to build links, here are some of the following:

article submission
forum posting
link wheel
link exchange
social bookmarking
press release
social networking

Theres really no easy way to do this unless you have inhouse programmers.

I think directory submission, article submission,bookmarking, press release, forum, blog posting and Building Back Links is helpful to improving keyword ranking in SERP.

1.Spend the next 12-18 months reading all the expert opinions you can find
2.Forget about all that.
3. Use logic.
4. Put content on your site that HUMANS will want to read and that other webmasters will want to link to.

You dont get the keyword on the serp you get the web pages dear. Wrong questions thus no answer.
