JavaScript Menu. This is not search able. However if you just cannot depart, create a site menu so that the links can be crawled.

Too Many Keywords. Keyword mashing is a thing of the past. Trying to cram in too many keywords is a sure fire way to be ignored but the search engines.

It depends on the type of javascript menus. If the menu system and it's links are contained neatly within UL & LI tags, and javascript is just adding some animation or movement of some kind, it shouldn't be an issue.

Flash though, steer clear of that for sure.

Sure, if the links appear as href="uri" in the source code. Then javascript/DHTML/CSS animation is perfectly Ok.

It is menus that are created by javascript that are "invisible" to SE UAs as they are (currently) not javascript capable.

Cheers for that Ed, I should have been clearer (It must be time for another cuppa)

I would avoid what most people tell you (exception: Chrishurst and Edgray) and please don't listen to the "get PR links" BS.

I would say Javascript navigation and Flash, however there are ways to get such type of pages as well.

Flash is what the Search Engines does not crawl and it better to have a site with less loading time.. because its the only time where in a user does not really wait for that thing to happen for longer time, so the site should be with less flash loading pages.

No worries, obviously you need to make your tea intake a little more frequent!

Avoid paying for SEO. Most of it you can learn from forums like this one for free. And if the deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. Avoid Blackhat techniques and anything that seems fishy.

Make sure you don't use any blackhat tactics and don't build too many links in one day and then stop the next day.
