Like to know what everybody thinks is the best way to promote your site? My favorite is Press Releases and Twitter. How about you???

Everybody have different choices and everybody thinks in different way. To promote my site I usually do directory submission first then article and press release submission. But my favorite task is press release submission I think it gives me quick and better result.

When it comes in promoting a site all SEO off page optimization techniques is the right thing to do but there are some techniques that are really helpful and effective. Well in my case, for me the most effective one is social bookmarking and those social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

The following steps have helped me in getting the good traffic (not bulk traffic)
1) Find the target audience
2) Understand the needs (cravings) of the target audience
3) Find the hangout of the target audience ( forums, blogs, q&a sites)
4) Help them on finding solutions to their problems, questions etc.,

It takes time to promote a website. Find some good keywords for your website and try to get page 1 ranking for them by using various methods like onpage, off page seo. If you do not know how to do this, contact a professional
