One of my client want that his website should rank in Google.de and Google.ie cause his business totally for Irish and German people. He don’t have any interest in ranking in Google.com or any other Google .TLDs .Can anyone guide me what should be my focus that it will help to rank Google.ie and Google.de .

work only with .ie and .de domains..................for example......
exchange links only with the domains .de and .ie.............

1. Get 2 domains, one with .ie and the other .de
2. Create two sites, one for ie. in English + possibly Gaelic, the other in German
3. Host the .ie site in Ireland, host the .de site in Germany
4. Create relevent and useful content for both sites
5. Sit back and wait...

^Where you host will make no difference to your serps in other countries, if they got hosted in Japan it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.

where you host DOES make a difference. previous poster is wrong.

marlene11 is right. Where you host your web site matters. For example, if your web server (IP) is in German, your ranking in German is higher. Not to mention, someone may use "Only web pages in German" in google to search.

So for your case, you need to have two hostings. One in German and another Irish. Other than that, use Germany in your german site and Irish (English??) in your Irish site. So naturally, your customers will come from German and Irish. More people from German and IRish read your web site, your rank in those countries will be higher.

Marlene and Robert, if server location made a difference I have found a nice job for you where you can sell your secrets to google, and here is the secret for you to help google make their millions, google.co.th is hosted in America and not Thailand, get in there quick and tell them where they are going wrong.

German is a language not a IP.

I won't be so sure about what you say here. IP location and country specific domain name proved to be a factor time and time again in many projects I did. It sure helped me rank when I had a UK hosting and a co.uk domain name when I redid some sites.

do work on local site. like if you want to do classifieds then only chose local site.
make a face-book account and made network only with Germany and italy users. and permote you site.

and do natural link building.

Actually the hosting location has become less of a concern in recent times, the cctld is now the primary factor in localised filtering.

If his ccTLD is .de and .ie, it will not be too hard for him to rank his website in Google.de and Google.ie.
