I have a blog having an age greater than four months and is regularly updated but yet it is not ranked by Google (although it is submitted to Google and shows in google search). Can any body tell me after how much time Google re-ranks the web pages?

Pretty sure he wants to know about the useless green bar, normally updated every 3 months supposedly, if they missed you don't waste time worrying about it, it's about as usefull as the collection of fluff in my belly button.

Offhand I can't imagine any normal person searching for something like that, I assume it must be Chris's collection of navel fluff and quite rightly he seems proud of it, everybody needs a hobby I suppose.

The google toolbar is updated every three months or so. But internally, Google updates page ranks much more frequent than that. Your google toolbar doesn't show the page rank doesn't mean that it is not ranked.

Yes, I agree with Dennis. What I will suggest is don't care too much about the PR, concentrate on your site itself and the link building for it, and that's the most important!

I think, you need to have a keyword to optimize so that you can easily identify when your keyword have been ranked by any search engine.

Contradictory statement, don't worry about PR but build a bunch of backlinks?

Most important would be getting content on your site that when people search a term, they find what they were looking for...

To answer your question, PR is updated constantly. We just don't see it.
