I have observed one thing that if your article is approved in ezine articles, there is sudden increase in ranking of a website.

Is this true?

I would like to hear your views on it.

I get referral traffic - never seen my site(s) go up in the SERPs.

I think it's true since ezinearticles has high pagerank..But, i always fail to submit my articles..they always be rejected...Maybe because my english is bad i think..

Yes, if you can submit your article to ezine articles, you can possibly get large amount of traffic and quality backlinks.

Depends on topic and information of your article, there is no doubt there ezine is the best article directory amongst all. If your article is getting syndicated from the ezine, you will get lots of backlinks from there.

Same thing happened to me. But the good result is, the only two backlinks of my site that Google takes into account for calculating link popularity, are coming from Ezinearticles. So I believe links coming from such popular sites as Ezinearticle will give us more votes compared to other ordinary ones.

Well, linking to Ezines might really help your website get better SERP. Continue submitting articles at Ezines.

But at the time when your article is approved that time the page rank is zero in ezinearticles.com, if your article is SEO optimized then it is good for SEO purposes as people search in google or yahooo.

However, people also visit ezinarticles.com for finding articles for their topic...... but you have to give much importance to search engine optimization.
