It might sound stupid.. but just got a doubt..

in search engine rankings.. does ".com" domains have more power over other domains like ".info",".net",".org" .......... I guess every domian is equal

main doubt is..

for example.. when we are searching in google.co.in (india) we can see some domains with ".in" in first page..so these domains doesnt show in other countries google search???

That depends on the location, Google will show you what's more relevant from the geographic point of view. For google.co.uk the same, for .de the same etc..

No, all domain have same power, its just several other factors which bring your page on top of search.

Actually there are TLD's that are divided according to country today so according to specific country .in for India, .co for colombia etc are best. But if you talk overall then .com are the best ever...

Hmmmm... How odd... Your sig says 'PageRank 4 site for sale' and you say here that you want to know how many backlinks to your site. Most people I know who are aware of their site's PR usually find tools to check their backlinks through a obscure site called www.Google.com.

Oh and BTW, Your PR 4 site means little. FYI, PageRank is just one of the hundreds of pointers Google uses to rank a site. Thanks for the opportunity to set the record straight with the PR thingy.

and, PR is only valid with Google.

ALL things being the same, google will rank a .com higher than any other TLD extension. The next 2 TLDs are 2) .net 3) .org

The domain does not have a large impact unless if it is used as same...so one can appropriately use it according to the requirement

it don't make any benifit to get in hight ranking, unless & untill if you not have informative & user friendlly website, & also good optimization to your site. regularlly updatetion also effects your ranking,

it all depends on the keywords you are using in your domain..a domain containing no keyword is really hard to rank whereas domain including good keywords whether it is .info or .net can be ranked easily...and i have done this.
more of .com domain is a powerful domain....but it all depends on the keywords like i said before.

its depend on country if you select .in so google gives you first 85% indian search result after that other also if you select www.google.com so any person can search in google so google gives all county result on page
