Ok. So awhile back as I learned more about SEO, and the importance of the url in helping achieve better search results, I purchased a new domain name for my site because the old one wasn't getting great traffic.

Now low and behold, the original domain name finally got indexed in DMOZ (may have happened right before the change...not sure?)

The old domain name is PR3. I dont really use it for anything......

The new domain is PR1.

What are my options? Should I jump back on the old domain with all of my content and ditch the newer one......

Should I just redirect the entire old domain to the new domain.....the old domain has 5 years life left that I purchased.....so it is not going anywhere any time soon.

Should I turn the old one into a link directory and sell links?

What would YOU DO?

Domains don't have "PR" - pages do!

Traffic isn't the name, but the content

I'd stick with the old domain if I were you. SEO takes tiime. Patience is a virtue in this game.

If you are really pushed, try turning the old domain to a link exchange. It will render the domain completely useless.

Like most has commented domain has nothing to do with your ranking. It may help a little but that is just a small part of a big game. If you really want to rank hig you must work harder, more intelligent and patience in needed here.

First increase the PR and SERP of your old site then you can sell it.

If you will not improve SEO values you will not get good money for your old site.
