Hello!

If I want my site to be found by someone who doesn't type in English, can I add words in Russian to the list of english keywords...
So it would look like this:
keyword, ключевое слово, форум, forum

In Joomla I can make a list of SEO keywords and so far I only use words in English.

Nope! Because the meta keywords is not used by search engines.

Just use keywords in English. There is no use keywords in Russian.

abrodski, you can do it, just check your page encoding, it should support cyrillic.

Keywords in metatags are not relevant anymore for SEs. If you want to target russian audience together with english one on the same page - make mixed EN/RU content. The best way is to separate these things into different website sections.

Much better if you'll use english language then just add up Google translator.

I think he have to make both English and Russian version of his website. If he prefers Russian, then make the homepage written in Russian letters and language, and offer a link to the English version of the website.
