form goole webmasters i can see my site's 55 backlinks .but from yahoo.i can see my site's 178 backlinks .but when i google link:***.com,i can't see one backlink.what is wrong? what can i do to improve my backlink's quality?

i thing it is algorithm different. Yahoo only shows the back link high, Google display very few links.

Yahoo is best for checking the back links.

Google and yahoo index things at different times, maybe google hasn't found those other backlinks or considers them pretty much worthless.

he is not asking about the search engine based difference of baclinks; he is aking about the difference on backlink reference-based (Google Backlink search syntax VS Google Webmaster Tools)

There are many methods to bulild quality backlinks. Social bookmarking, article, blog etc...

When you found 0 results for sites that links to your website in manual way in Google, it means that your backlinks are not good enough in the eye of Google and it means you have to gather more strong backlinks to your website.

Google takes more time inbetween its subsquent indexing of pages where as yahoo do it more frequently... so it may be because of that reason as well !!!

It can take few days for the links to appear, also make sure they are Do follow ones.
Yahoo is indeed better tool, you can look for the free links checker on the buy traffic guide as well.
