i just can't afford this time.
and my hosting only allow two addon domain but i've use it to my 4 domains. and i just can't let my domains sit and do nothing so i tried free hosting. maybe later after it acquire pr then i'll soon transfer to a paidhosting.

It is not hard to get pr and have high keyword ranking if you use free hosting. The point here is that you have to do good SEO for your site. the SERP doesn't depend on hosting, but depend on how good you do SEO for your site.

I don't think that free hosting makes that much of a difference. take http://janeknight.typepad.com for example. Has a PR of 5/10 (Not that in matters much) and ranks for many things on education. Not the ideal example. But I hope you get the drift.

Never heard of this but nice question ... but really shouldn't make much of a difference as google wants everyone to focus on the content rather than on the page rank as a good content will inevitable gets its deserved rating !!

Paid or free hosting does not make any difference to rankings. The only thing is that, the one who is providing free hosting gets more benefits than the person who is working for that site or blog.

What can benefits you in paid than to free is on On page optimization, while you have your own hosting you can do a lot of work regarding with on page optimization while in free there is a restriction that can lessen the on page optimization on the way you optimize it.
