Hi..

Does Bounce Rate really affects Keyword Position??

I have one website of coupon codes & for my website the Bounce Rate is near about 75 - 80% so i just wanna know is bounce rate affects to the Keyword positions.. Because all of my keyword for the site is under 20 & some of them are in top 10 but within 15 - 20 days all of the keywords are gone out from the google & it always does in 15 - 20 days.. I had heard somewhere that Bounce Rate affects keyword position so i wanna know this deeply.. If my keyword is not in top then the site is useless for me, all of the efforts are also..

I heard that people are coming to your site & gone from the landing page within a sec so google thoughts that the site is not proper for the users so google will throw out the keywords.. Is this true?? If its true than why my all of the keywords are gone from the google, why not that particular keyword are gone out of google from which the users are closing the website??

AND If your particular website DIDN'T have a high "bounce rate" it may demonstrate a potential problem.

BEFORE you start worrying about "bounce rate" you have to know what it means for YOU!

The bounce rate is high on my website because i just developed that site before 4 months & 1 more thing is all of my keywords are come back after 10 - 15 days to that position..This is continuously going on on my website.. The keywords are come back in 10 days & gone out after 15 days, this process is regularly i am watching from last 3 months..

If your bounce rate is too high? its not good for your site because Google also analyze your unique visitors, otherwise your positioning will down..........

I will suggest you that you need to improve you bounce. Try to change your meta or design and see why your bounce rate increasing?

WRONG! How does Google KNOW about your "Unique visitor"? How would they know that your pages have a higher or lower "bounce rate" than other pages for the same query?
How do they KNOW what is normal for a page in any particular marketplace??

Did you even bother to look at the site? AND would you have the slightest clue what "bounce rate" would be "normal" for such a site??

Before Google Analytics came along most of you would not have the slightest clue what "bounce rate" is or what it means for marketing a page, should it be quite low and visitors are viewing more than one page on a site?
Or should it be high and visitors land on a page and leave straight away?

Well! it really all depends on the site and the marketplace, but of course being search "experts" and marketing "gurus" you all knew that already!

It's funny how people think, if you google something that you want to know, click on the link and it tells you what you want to know so you leave, is that good or bad, do you really think google is going to penalise a site that actually gives the information that a person is looking for?

Bounce rates as far i know depends on visitors coming to your site and leaving within certain timeframe.. If its too high then its not good for your website.. make your website content or whatever including design I mean about its look to attract visitors to stay on.. sometimes good content site with much attraction deviates users, so you have to think from every aspects for the website, how and what you can offers on the site to let your visitors stays on there and give sometime in knowing about your site what it deals in.. If they stayed for much time then your bounce rate will be less.. Unique visitors are different thing.. it depends on how much time particular IP logged in on that site and for how much long timeframe.. this is my general ways of knowing about this, hope many you agrees if i am wrong do explain more so that i know it.

Nope! "Bounce rate" is visitor landing on a page and then leaving the site without visiting another page on the site!

Yes,"Bounce rate" is visitor landing on a page and then leaving the site without visiting another page on the site!
But all of your keywords are gone out from the google may be not because the Bounce rate of your site is high.

yesss bounce rate effect on SEO if you bounce rate is low so you can get good ranking and if you have high bounce rate so your ranking will not improve fast

mividazul so you are saying that sites that actually give the information a person is looking on the first page they visit will get a low ranking, now we won't go into how google etc know a sites bounce rate, but, are you suggesting it is better to build sites that give a vague sort of answer and the person should click through several pages to get the full answer they are looking for or perhaps not even give the answer and have someone clicking through your whole site, is this the way google invisions how people want to find the information they are looking for? Do you really believe these sites will get a great ranking because people are having to waste their time looking for the information?

But any person can visit 2hour and he visit 200page of your website so it is beneficial that time your bounce rate is 0.00% so it is mining full
