Hello All,

this is my first post here. Hopefully it's the right spot for my question.

Can somebody recommend a SEO/SEM freelancer or small shop with a proven track record, fair price and good practices? I would prefer a US based firm but am open to anything.

Important elements: Price, Quality, record.

I am a local designer + developer and have limited experience for SEM. I can do some on page SEO like adding the keywords in the right places and doing some keyword research, but for clients who want to run nation wide campaigns, google ads etc, I dont feel comfortable doing that. A partner freelancer would be great to have. Usually my client web sites are in the neighborhood of $2*** to 5***. So, a freelancer or firm that would fit with that kind of small business segment would be preferred. I wont make sense to refer my clients to somebody who charges $100,000 a month to manage an ad campaign. not that there is anything wrong with that, it just wont fit my customer segment.

Looking forward to getting some recommendations.

You are better off reading posts and approaching some one who strikes yo as being what you are looking for, because asking this question in an open forum is only going to get you inundated with scammers and chancers.

I usually like to get some recommendations. I would trust the opinion of a reputable poster like yourself (28,000 posts?!?!). Scams are usually fairly easy to spot.

But yes, it definitely is a great idea to read some of the posts and see what is going on. bit more time consuming maybe.

Very true just an option how about to try doing seo/sem for yourself if you have time. Now a days there are a lot of online firms that offers such work but you should be very careful on choice coz some firm will just destroy your site or page if you don't have any idea about the job.
