All I know is that branding is a form of advertising. But through a deep Google research, I learnt that advertising is a broad term that involves several elements such as promotion of merchandise and services. On the other hand, it stated that branding is specific kind of advertising, enabling the professionals to build the business name. Advertising allures consumers to come and check out the products or services, while branding lets visitors remember the company. Is this difference accurate? Please post your replies for my knowledge. I want to learn about the two for my website for which I want a brand name.

This is a question which baffled me for many days. Nice topic to discuss on.

What I feel is in present days it is advised to concentrate on branding since people have become blind to advertising totally.

Making people remember your brand name builds trust and loyalty.

I look at advertising as being something that ends eventually. I look at branding as something that you want to last forever.

If you're advertising a company, that advertisement will eventually go away. However, if you continue to advertise, your company will eventually be branded in the brains of people.

Branding will eventually take place if you work hard enough on advertising a company through television, word of mouth, and the internet.

i believe that branding is
part of advertising. you can make your advertising more effective by means of that.

Branding is a much targeted advertising wherein you are not just promoting the product ofr services that you have, but also your brand.

Actually they are both good in promoting products but advertising can also get more customers and clients because you advertise online using SEO or PPC.
