As long as the content is worthy you can't generate links too quickly, ie if you have the naked pics of some super model you will generate a tremendous amount of links extremely quickly.

Yeah, the question seems to odd. Well anyway, you can submit or promote your site to any social media sites like Twitter and Facebook.

I've heard of automated backlink generators, but If you read or listen what Google says I think you won't have problems. Here's a video from Google Webmasters Help:
Is there such a thing as building too many links?

No it is NOT!

Unless of course you can generate 500,000 links in a matter of seconds AND get them all discovered by a search engine in a matter of hours.

This might be of interest. This was about websites promoted by their owner who is quite expert at SEO.

The websites were promoted with dozens of backlinks a day until they scored high on serps. As soon as no more new backlinks were being added, the sites were "sandboxed" by Google.

No doubt the usual speculative nonsense by people who only test in a manner that proves their theory correct.

Well, Chris, you're a real expert. What exactly is the "sandbox"?

Do a few searches for co.th or vietnamese websites, look for ones that google gives a warning they may harm your computer, go to these sites and see what viruses you get, now wouldn't it be a good idea if there was a sandbox for google to put attack sites into it?

Yes. Your point is well made that "quarantine" or "probationary" period is a better term than "sandbox."

Whatever it is called, is it a shorter period now since Google's Caffeine, or is it too soon to tell?

Have you tried it yourself? It sounds suspiciously like you are volunteering us as expendable troops to go out on a death-or-glory scouting mission!

If the "new improved Google" lives up to the MC propaganda, it should be.

Google have done many such rollouts over the years.

Nov 2003 - Jan 2004 (Florida) was the infrastructure change that saw the end of the "Google Dance" and the start of the continuously (everflux) changing SERPs depending on which DC you are supplying YOUR results. It also brought one of the major changes on taking "low guality" links out of the ranking equation.
The start of the "sandbox effect" which was tweaked by minor "updates"

The "Big Daddy" update (Dec 2005-Mar 2006) was a infrastructure change and another sea change on how links where evaluated.

Both of these had the effects that Google had suggested was where the development teams were aiming for, as with all such changes there are "unexpected" effects and results.

The "Caffeine" test DC appeared to bear out the anticipated improvements so there is no reason to suggest otherwise.

If the "twittering class" of "experts" ever managed to get their heads out of their backsides and actually looked around at real results instead of their contrived "tests" they would have noticed that the "sandbox theory" does not hold water any more (not that it ever really did)

Great article. Great blog. Thanks, Chris! (I was inspired by the "before" and "after" SEO pictures.)
