I'm trying to increase the exposure of the (over 40,000) European locations in my database for which my site provides weather forecasts.
Following from a post last week:
http://www.webmaster-talk.com/seo-ta...ion-pages.html
on Thursday I added 3 SEO-helping-links on my footer.
These link to UK country pages eg http://www.weatherbadger.com/country/UK/England.php . These pages contain links to 150 pages of sub-regions (UK counties) eg
http://www.weatherbadger.com/country...of_Cumbria.php
and these pages contain a list of links to the php-generated weather forecasts (currently covering each of 1800 towns in the UK as a first-effort).
After a few days Google and Yahoo are showing the regional (England/Scotland etc) pages, so if i Google "weatherbadger.com" cumbria it takes me to /country/UK/England.php but it doesn't show any county pages (with my lists of locations) ...yet.
Have I done this right? What sort of a timescale am I looking at? I'm wondering if I need some more content on my regional pages or something (I'll try and do maps eventually), but can someone reassure me they will get listed eventually?
Cheers
WB
