Hello Friends,
i have done seo of some sites near two year before, in those two year we are not doing seo of these sites but these sites are still have good serp on its Niche keywords.
so my question is one time seo is remain whole life, they need not any seo after one time ?

Staying up high with out additional work.....luck....
Unless you have low completion keywords....

No SEO effect can't remain life time, Today or Tomorrow your site may be decrease due to amount of backlinks! So having a good practice of SEO is good for your site present as well as future!

Not for life, aslong as they serp well I wouldn't worry about it, its when you don't get the visitors is the time to work on it.

Optimising your pages correctly can be a one time operation, get it right once, ignoring stupid "tricks" and there is no need to change things to keep up with algorithm changes.

PROMOTION and MARKETING is an ongoing thing.

No.. it cannot be a lifetime but can last at a long period of time.. SEO results can last a long time compare to PPC.. As long as you do it right, and as long as your backlinks will be not deleted nor still the site is active.

The only way you are staying high without any work means no competition. If you have competition out there working you will lose ground consistently without work. I wouldn't wait until the competition starts to bump you keep up your SEO!

NO, One time SEO could not run for long time. It is a continuos process. At that time if your site ranking well it means competitor not working too fast on their linkbuilding. So one time SEO is not a good choice.

May be you will not have number of competitors for that section of keywords which is a good thing.
But I think you should continue with the off page activities as it really helps to increase and maintain your current position.

No one time seo not ramain for life time because search engine change their algorithm frequently so seo should be ongoing process for top 10 ranking and more traffic.
