I want to optimize my site and I have read that the best way to do so is by using blogs. But, I was not sure on how to come up with a blog site. Traditionally, people take advantage of blogger.com as it is easy and effective. Just 3 steps are enough to create blogs. I did so, and it generated an URL that helped me to post and reply to other post. But, now I do not know how I can make use of blogs for my site. Should I publish post related to my product and provide a link directing to the website? Your opinions will be greatly appreciated.

If you publish related post and link to your website it will give you some benefits. But, creating one blog just to link to your website will not help much. And many links from one blog to one website is not good choice. That will not hurt your positions but will not improve them also.

But if you create 100 blogs and link to your website it will help :P

But, what you should think is to implement a blog into your website and write about your business, give advices and useful stuff and you will have success. Blog means fresh content, and new visitors, creating relationships and so on...

Blogger.com is very effective for generating traffic.so you should create your product related blogs. You should also do offpage optimization of your blogs.

If you are an experienced person in your field and do know a lot about your niche, addition of blog to your own domain name and beginning to post could be recommended. In most cases the posts would be picked by some other webmasters and if the contents are of high quality even free links could be gained but consistency in publishing and also writing greatly are the keys.

Backlinks from blogs are very good because the page (probably) has relevant content to your site so they are very useful and can help a lot.

Its is one way to get higher page rank in Google. You can get backlinks from blog. See to that blog or forum has to be related to you business or work.

Write lot of review and include your signature(url) to get back links.

I think blogging is very important factor to generate traffic. But you need to put fresh and informative content on blog. After putting the post you have to share on social bookmarking sites to get better results.

yes it is very good that if you want to optimize a site use blog . because if you give good and proper detail of the product then you get more traffic from it and it is very useful for the site and it is also increase your backlinks

If you want to optimize a website, FOCUS on IT.
It's not bad to use a blog in promoting a website, but you can't optimize a website using a blog.

If you are thinking of doing 3 way link yes it can be helpful but not that efficient.

Blogger.com is a more affective site. if you think 3 way link, it can be helpful. But don`t use more hyper link.

To optimize any site is really a huge thing that you are asking about. Only by blog creation and blog commenting doesn't help you to get your site in top of search engine.

If your using your blog to promote your site, make sure that you make updates to your blog which is about your site. Make an interesting content or article in your blog.

Blogs that are optimized will only help your main sites optimization if the blogs have links to your site.

You can optimize the blogs all you want, but if the links aren't there, nothings going to happen.

Get some quality content on the blogs and then have backlinks on them pointed towards your main site. In time you could potentially get your blogs to PR3+ (if you're lucky) and then those backlinks will help out your main site.

This will take a lot of time since you'll have to optimize your blogs with content and backlinks while doing the same to your main site.

Yes blogging is one way to optimize your website. I suggest that you also try to incorporate keywords to your title tag.
