Firstly, Try to find the landing page which having maximum Bounce rate. Find what kind of visitors you are getting on that page. you can do this via implementing Filters in analytic to find out complete referrals links, keywords.

by this you will get an idea about the visitors you are getting. now think that, is this your targeted audience? does it belongs to same from country you are targeting.

More over you can optimize your website content, make user friendly, informative, attractive.

Stop dropping links on "social media" sites and forums and there won't be so many visitors who simply click out of curiosity then leave!

Or failing that learn what "bounce rate" actually means for your site.

To reduce bounce rate, the visitor must Stay on your site for a specific time. So, try to attract the visitor to other pages in your site from the landing page. The landing page should be attractive links to other pages.

Huh? DRUGS are bad, don't do it.......

Taking a quick look at your page the first thing I see is paintballing, now this may come as a bit of a shock to you, but the last thing on peoples minds when going to the Himalayas is paintballing, the Himalayas are famous for one thing and one thing only, and the people want to climb it.
Can't even find the word "MOUNTAIN" in big letters at a quick glance.

I think the best way to lessen the bounce rate is to create good and interesting content plus make sure that the landing page is user friendly.

3 things you need to know for Bounce rate:

1. Pages that download quickly.
2. Professional-looking pages.
3. A home page that answers these basic questions.

It is so true as something that you have written keeping SEO in mind would get you on higher on search engines for a while but good content written for potential clients would not only get you up there in search engine results but also good clients and business. It would not attract random traffic by good traffic that actually ended up at your landing page on purpose.

As far as I'm aware that's not completely true. If you get 1 visitor who stays on your homepage for 1 hour and then leaves your site your bounce rate will be 100%.

Bounce rate is simply the percentage of people who don't view anymore pages other than the page they landed on.

Regards,
Jack

I have uploaded some good number of videos on my website. I has helped me a lot to reduce the bounce rate of website. The video of at least 2 minutes is sufficient to pass on the information to visitors.

I am in wonder with people's thought. How can you say the site content and designing is more powerful if it's bounce rate is low. I don't believe in that, the bounce rate is low means that it might be containing good content.
You can reduce your bounce rate if your content is related to jokes, humor or online shopping or any other interesting stuff. But your site is informative then it is hard to maintain it.

Actual answer of question:-> There are too many ways for it. You can put Java script ads. or try to get a feedback from users. These two are best technique to reduce bounce rate.

For reducing bounce rate you need to have informative and unique content and good navigations. You need to make pages such a way that you target visitors could find it useful for them. Try to engage them with some attractive offers, interesting content. Try to implement something that can help them to think that your site is a bit different from others with good quality and attractiveness.
