I’ve been reading a lot of threads recently and most of them seem to be talking about the supremacy of Google in the search department. I am beginning to think about its effect on the personalized search. I have seen that Gypsy makes some good predictions but the effect of the personalized search on the seo industry is still unknown.

As of now, the SEO can manipulate rankings with keywords and links, but as times change , search will orient more towards user relevant content. So this will change the criteria for page and site rankings. What do you guys think about this changing trend?

Thanks

It tends to favour larger dynamic sites, ie if you use wiki a lot it will serp high for you, maybe be the beginning of the end for small crappy sites

Google is all about the user and not the marketer.......
The trick will be to stay on the right side of the line...
Build for users...that should work when the junk sites go away....

Yes Google will surely maintain its monopoly in Search because right there is no serious competition for Google in this area at least.
