Backlinks from Articles

I have a question about article writing and backlinks. I heard that putting backlinks onto 1 site does not help much. I have been writing articles and submitting them to article base and ezines. The articles that I write are all on different topics but they are submitted into only these 2 websites. For example, I write an article about television and put in into the correct catergory, then I might write an article about swimming and put it into its correct catergory. With each article having a link back to my website. Now down to my question, the way I am doing this, Do these links count as seperate backlinks to my website even tho they are submitted and accepted to the same main website like article base or ezines? They are all totally different articles but within the same main website that I submit to. Thanks

Just junk.
If you want to attract REAL links, put YOUR articles on YOUR website and promote them.
Posting articles to such places simply means you give away YOUR work to any body who wants to abuse it.

I think articles are alright for real small niche stuff, ie say fish and chip shops in Blackpool, actually thats probably too large a niche, maybe vets that will willing put down your unwanted pets in Blackpool, you know real small rubbish stuff, but to actually do a real good article and then post it on other sites or article directories seems a real dumb idea to me.

Wrong way around you know!
Chippies in Blackpool is a fair sized marketplace while the vets would be a "niche".
BTW there can't a small or large "niche", Niche means "small opening"

Which one of the following would be a niche? Blackpool Vets, Blackpool, England, UK, Europe, Planet Earth, The Universe, Chris's belly button fluff collection

Better way to do it is to build links from Different Class-C IPs, different website platform, Different type of website like forum, article directories, niche directory, sitewide links, etc.

Yes this will work.. As you are Pointing your site from Different Pages.. As while you posting a Article on a Site that will create New Page and if you link a Domain on that Page will be counted.. But if you use the Same Link With The Same Domain Name again for new Article nothing will counted extra.. You may do this for Promoting.. But not for Backlink Count... For Backlink count you may Post Comment on other Pre-Submitted Article..

IP classing hasn't existed since 1993
and the rest of your "advice" is about as useful and up to date.

also, reading the "type" of articles your writing, I can't think of a site, that 2 niches that are so far apart would relate to your site. you want targeted articles, that relate to your niche, not just a backlink from a random site about something completely different from your own site. You also want your link to have good anchor text preferably in the body of the articles . You would be better off making something on your site, that is valuable to users, that would entice people to link to it. then promote that. like a tutorial or something . This is called link baiting, and works quite well.

Putting the articles on your own website makes sense only if the title is optimized for a longtail phrase that gets search engine traffic. If you write how to build a fast car and it gets searches and you get it syndicated on thousands of article directories it could lead to some referral traffic and of course back links. Now the downside is not getting these visitors directly. Only if you plan on building an authority website that could potentially outrank these article directories should you put it on your own website, otherwise you'll have tons of unique content that never ranks well.

You need to start by writing articles that are only relevant to your niche. If your niche is swimming, only write about swimming.
Every article you publish creates its own separate backlink. And, if you have a user profile (which I highly encourage), that also counts as a separate backlink.
That being said, article marketing works best (and it DOES work, so don't listen to all the naysayers out there) if you submit unique content to several different directories. Pick a bunch of the top directories, and see which ones give you the best results. I started by picking 10-12 of the best directories, and now I regularly submit to about 6 or 7.
Good luck!

Writing an article is by far the best way of gaining links and traffic to your site. The technique here is to write an article of five to six hundred words on a subject that you are knowledgeable about. Get several of your trusted friends to proof read and contribute and then refine it into a readable style.

Yeps Article gives good back links & help in Keyword ranking. But the condition is that the article content must be unique & related to your the theme. & also must submitted in proper category.
