I saw this Interactive PageRank Demo tweeted today and I thought I would share for all of you wanting to get a better idea of how PageRank actually works. You can experiment to see which linking schemes produce your desired results. Please note: This is an approximation based on PageRank theory and will not directly correlate to Google's current PageRank algorithm, which is not publicly known.

Interesting page VM. Thanks for posting. As you pointed out this should be seen as direct correlation with Google's PR algorithm, but it seems to do a good job explaining how PageRank works in theory. The visuals are a nice touch.

I didn't come up with it, it was done by William Cotton. I just saw it tweeted so I decided to share. I would assume that you could see his sources by following the links on the page.

Hmmm interesting.... will review more about it but i think its quite affective.
