Hi!

Just a quickie:

If I were to submit one article to a lot of websites:

I am talking about literally 1 article to a hundred different ones, per day, for a year.

Would this count as black hat stuff?

Has anyone experienced Google's wrath? Or done this and not been smithed?

Just to put in context:

I am planning to do a balanced campaign after some great advice from two moderators here, amongst others, including setting up sites with related content that people are more keen on linking organically as well.

However, when I look at my competitors back links they are mostly (90%) bogus links from forum posts that look viral: the same post, at a hundred+ places, where one does not need passwords. The number 1 for two out of three keywords that I am going for has 30.000 back links of this nature.

So I figure: 1 * 100 * 365 = 36500 links coming from 100 article sites with good articles should be a good thing?

Sorry, realize that this is somewhat a stupid question in hindsight: if Google punished people like this then one could undermine other competitors.

Much better if you'll be selective in where you'll submit your article so that you'll be able to distribute your articles in high quality article submission sites.

Never had a experience like this unless you completely spam your submission.
