I am trying to find a search engine optimization company for months. The problem is, is that there are many promises but they are unreliable. I spend a lot of money without any results. How to find a company you can rely and trust ?

Maybe you have been looking for "experts" rather than someone who KNOWS what they are doing.

And 99% SEO companies don't know what they are doing.

Hey guys, I think you know what you are talking about. So, the question is: can you recommend somebody you trust and who knows what they are doing?

Take a look around the forum, read a few posts and see who talks sense rather than simply repeating the tired old rhetoric from the bygone days.

You also need to look at the experience of the company. See what kind of work they have done before and find out what their marketing strategies are to see if they are a good fit for your business and website

The posts that speak sense are outnumbered hundreds to one by the idiots

You can follow those guidelines by Chris, but when you find someone, follow mine ( said below ) ,

I'm not going to recommend someone directly to you, but I'll give you some tips that you need to know, before hiring a SEO company.
1. Never hire someone that says they can complete the job for you quick. SEO takes time and patience.
2. Never hire someone that says that they can get your web pages ranked on the first page as the first link of Google for ANY keyword.
3. Always ask for previous work that they've done and feedback from the clients.

Unfortunately that does make it somewhat tedious, ( that's one hell of an understatement there Chris!)

Stop wasting your money and start doing it yourself! Read and learn, because "if you want something done right, do it yourself".

So like most "hosting companies" that would be the "reviews" written by the company themselves or their shills.

Dear Kline11,
Thank you for your advice but the problem is if I would have time and knowledge how to do it myself, I wouldn't ask for help. So anyone on this forum know anything about SEO?

Why not google "seo company" see what turns up in the first 10, have a quick look thru them to see why they are in the top 10, and choose from them, it's a very competive search term so they got to be pretty good or doing something real dodgy to be in the top 10.

BTW I have to ask something here:
On your site, are looking to sell products (headphones presumably) or win some kind of award from a mobile phone company?

ahhh, I just had a look at the website, before thinking about seo you may want to do a slight re design and actually get some content/words on there, then get someone to optimise it a bit.
