There are lots of keyword research tools to used, just remember that the figures given by these tools are not the exact amount of search volumes you'll get when you able to rank at these keywords.

I use keyword discover and yes its works well no need for other fancy or paid software to track it.

I always find great differences when using more kwd tools, I do not rely too much on those numbers.

Before going for the keyword suggestion tool, i would suggest you should check the keyword trends for those keyword terms in Google Trends.

no keyword suggestion tool is as effective as that of google adword keyword tool.

All others claim to be a good one but practically it is not possible as they don't have the data on the basis of which they will give you accurate result.

No beware of these fake sites.

You can use several keyword research tools but remember that the figures obtained by you do not exhibit the exact amount of search volume.

I'd say the adwords keyword tracker isn't very accurate.

I've been ranked for "competitive keywords" according to it and I didn't see much of an increase in my traffic from that keyword.

Example:
I was ranked #4 for a competitive keyword that have roughly 1,000,000 searches per month. I was ranked #3, #4, and #5 for around 6 days and if I were to get the traffic I'd hoped for I would have gotten at least 10,000 visitors total for those 6 days. But I only got around 350 visitors for that keyword.

No keyword tracking tool can be completely accurate. But if you're ranked for a keyword where the tool says there are 1billion searches per month then I'd say you're pretty safe lol
