It's true that there are other search sites, but none are as fast or effective as Google. Google doesn't necessarily scan more of the Web and index more websites than any other search engine. That's not really what's important. What it does better than any other site is deliver more accurate results. At times, the results seem so uncanny that you almost feel as if Google is reading your mind.

I have never felt that way, i have used other search engines and their results are just as good as Google.

There are lots of search engines out there that has also good results. Some people used google because it's quiet faster to load the result.

Google gives more accurate results than other search engines. I also use other search engine like yahoo but google is more accurate.

Of course lots of other search engines are there but Google is still holding no.1 position as search engine. It shows you the most relevant results based upon the search queries. Now Google use the most improved and developed search engine that index sites that are useful and informative. Any businesses whether it provides any service or products to customers mostly dependent upon the visitors come from Google. So now importance of other search engines are really very less!

That is true. People have mindsetting that Google is the most recommended search engine to use.

i believe it's bit unfair with other search engines. yes Google's search results are good but other search engines are also improving and now their results are also as good as google

no doubt that some time other search engines also produce better results than Google. but as Google has captured the market, so every body want top optimize his/her website for the Google so the ratio of good results produce by Google is more than the others
