I am well acquainted about inbound links but I don’t have much knowledge of outbound links. So if anybody knows about outbound links then please let me know.

I definitely try to do my fair share of outbound links. I honestly don’t think of it as a SEO method. To me, it’s really about two things: providing info to readers AND building relationships with other bloggers.

When I first started blogging, I always forced outside links into new windows. I quickly realized (I believe I read it here) that trying to “keep” readers on my blog in that manner is completely wrong-headed. Instead, if I provide relevant and helpful links to other sites, readers will come back for information in the future. That’s the key.

Outbound links are website links which points away from a website...i.e. links which points to other websites...it only benefited if the outbound links are from websites matched your profile and having good position in major search engines...

out bonds links are the links to other websites from your site. these links help user to reach right place and it add value to your website.because if u don't have any information that user is looking for .OBL help then to reach them there.

From my personal opinion, the only benefit on outbound links it for the visitors to have a direct referrals on the thing that they are looking forward to. And also for your visitors to have broad idea about the content of your site. But don't use too much outbound links for it may harm your site cause there are some search engines that's having a problem with sites containing too much outbound links.

I guess we can assume that none of you have actually figured out that the navigation on any page of the website are ALL "outbound" links?????

Relevant outbound links don't really send visitors away; instead the give visitors access to valuable information. The best reason to include outbound links is because they contain content that enhances your own site's content.

The game of SEO is all about Links. Outbound links are those which points away from your website. That does not mean that you should not have outbound links. If you have thematically relevant link of the page having a good PR, then it would count somewhere in determining your PR.

An outbound-link (OBL) is a link from your website to another website. Outbound links can add value to your site by providing useful information to users without you having to create the content

I don't think outbound links will help in search engine optimization

if the links point to information assets or website outbond public relations high on the other, which are beneficial, they are just general useless.he visitors leaving your website to track outbound links.

Yes,OBL is most important for a site because you can get traffic from outbound link and also helping in get keyword rank in search engine.
