You can go to .edu websites and if you can comment on them, by doing it you can get .edu backlinks.

It's really hard to get such links as you should prove that your site is really valuable and worth working with.

I guess the "SEO Services" in your signature can't be much use if they think .edu links are something "special"

Yes to get a back link from edu sites it's very difficult.because if you are trying to put comment on their site or link exchange to get a back link it's not easy.because your comment as well as the link is has authentic.either the sites webmaster does reciprocate with you.

I think it is just because .edu is a link that has a integrity that they need to maintain, reason why it is difficult to have a back-links or links from .edu sites, even think of the fact they just give or allow you if your reason is valued and trust worthy for them in return.

Some of you do believe some garbage!!!

There NOTHING about .edu links that makes them "better" for anything.

Then what's for so much fuss about .edu sites and backlinks from them? Maybe, there's no smoke without fire.

Nope.

In this case it's just fanciful drivel.

Some "expert" decided that because only educational establishments can "own" a .edu hostname, Google MUST give more "value" to links from those pages.

I disagree, I think edu backlinks are better for EVERYTHING...the environment, healthy teeth, relationships, cooking, wealth, and of course - love, just to name a few.

ROFLMAO I love your politeness! I consider you EXTREMELY polite considering what you have to deal with day in and day out here... same questions repeated over and over... same "bad" answers from many of the peeps here. LOL

How do you stay sane?

@OP

.edu links are no more valuable than links from an equivalent .com, .net, .org, etc. Google is TLD agnostic. They could care less about the TLD.

There was a time many years ago when .gov and .edu sites where the best linked sites on the web (because lets face it, all of the original sites on the web were .gov and .edu sites so naturally they had the most leaks in the early years of the web). Also PR used to carry a lot more weight in Google's algorithms than it does today. So people used to seek out high PR sites for links which meant getting links from .edu and .gov sites, the only high PR sites on the web at the time.

That is not the case today...

.edu links are better than other links (except .gov links). You can get it by comment over .edu blogs

If you have got .edu or .gov Dofollow links, it will help you to have your keywords jumped on Google. NoFollow will not help
