Jim answered it plainly and simply.

Now, there is a lot of different opinions with regards to to outbound links. I tend to believe that for SEO purposes it is always best to have inbound links.

An outbound-link is a link from your website to another website means a link to a site outside of your site and inbound link is a link is a hyperlink that links from a Web page, back to your own Web page or Web site, it is also called as back link.

Outbound links means links from your web page to another web page.It may include the value of the site by providing useful information to users without having to content.It is difficult for a site to be complete on discipline.

Outbound linking are creating links from your site towards to other site. This is usually done to promote or to help visitors know more about your site or about the certain topic you are discussing with.

here all the member giver right answer about outbound linking & Inbound Link. here outbound linking are good for ranking also visitor point of view.outbound linking are also part of one way link building this is more better as compared to other link

For me, outbound linking doesn’t directly affect SEO. But if your pages are more useful to others, well, they’re more likely to link to you, which does affect SEO.

Inbound link are those link site internal page link.
Outbound link are those link that are external link to another site.
