I have read about people doing this before. You could try and get the site penalised by Google, by generating spammy links to it, or putting a link farm together for it... Google's pretty clever, but it's not outside the realms of possibility...

Use third party websites and blog to overcome their search results of the keywords that are against your website and lead them to your website.
Hope this helps.

Your intelligence is staggering, Mr Thailand Forum.
They aren't my ideas, why don't you read a post before criticizing?
Also, have a look, do a little research too:

I have heard about this so called "REVERSE SEO". They say that the idea of this is to remove negative impression of your site made by some other site. It is done by also optimizing your sub pages and blogs to overcome their SERP. Hope this may help.

It's a complete load of bollo rubbish. Just think about it. To move pages off the first page of the SERPs you would need to occupy ALL ten results with your pages. Hell most of the dipsticks who rattle on about "reverse SEO" can't even get ONE PAGE into the results never mind TEN!!!

Point well taken, but you don't need to outrank everyone - just the site you're targeting. Reverse SEO means different things to different people. For some, it means designing your site for your visitors and not for the search engines. For others, it means analyzing your competitor's sites to see why they outrank you, and attempt to emulate their success - sort of like reverse engineering. What others are referring to here is damage control - would that work? My initial reaction is NO, probably not.

I done 7 before on the first page "learn Thai Money", although the way google has changed over the last 30 days I should imagine it is a lot easier to dominate the first page.

yes I agree to this point, it is practically tough to get top for all the top 10 positions, but you can create some blogs which will overcome this result which leads to your site.

You don't get penalized for incoming links. You do get penalized for bad neighborhood outgoing links.

Two posts in DigitalPoint Forums and WebmasterWorld post point to a very interesting Forbes article on a lesser known practice of SEO known as "Google bowling" or "negative SEO." In this tactic, search engine optimizers force competitor websites down in the rankings so that the desired client's website has more visibility.
According to Brendon Scott, who sells this service to clients, this is indeed possible.
"I understand the rules of search," Scott says. "And once you understand the rules, you can use them not just constructively, but also destructively."
And Google's Webmaster Guidelines say "There's almost nothing a competitor can do to harm your ranking or have your site removed from our index," which leaves room for these deceptive practices to occur.
This is confirmed by Matt Cutts in the article:
Matt Cutts, a senior software engineer for Google, says that piling links onto a competitor's site to reduce its search rank isn't impossible, but it's extremely difficult. "We try to be mindful of when a technique can be abused and make our algorithm robust against it," he says. "I won't go out on a limb and say it's impossible. But Google bowling is much more inviting as an idea than it is in practice."
Interesting article, especially in light of our findings that competitors do try to trash rankings. DigitalPoint Forums members believe that it's definitely eye-opening:
Maybe this will put an end to all of the people who keep saying that if you got penalized you must have deserved it, and cut back on someone of the "Google knows everything" groupies.

It is possible, but incredibly difficult. There are people who offer this service.

Maybe if your site goes from 0 inlinks to thousands of inlinks instantly.
I've had so many bad neighborhood sites linking to my site and I never got penalized for it.
