3. Search for real co operations, relevant sites to work with and to exchange links with

4. Learn to generate the traffic, slowly, on the safe, white hatted side.

why not write more content for your own site rather than other people's?

It is basically true that quality links are very important and valuable. Relevancy is the major factor of having a quality link. Having a quality link really help your site alot

The BBC does around 50 articles perday and get millions of readers perday, should I tell them that they have got it all wrong?

I think a lot of ppl are missing the point and EdGray is on top of it as usual.

DON'T write content and place them on article directories. DO write unique, informative pages and ADD them to your site.

Once the new pages get indexed - place the written content on article directories. This promotes your site and shows ppl that you are good in your field. Most of all, there will be a bump of referral traffic from these sites as well.

You need to write fresh and unique content. Submit not more than two to 3 articles and 4 links in a day.

Very informative post. It has depicted the true picture of the SEO world. It happens that SEO people tend to publish the content as much as they could and generate links as much as they can. everybody want instant results. But actually it is not possible.
