Have you used heat maps for tracking navigation paths, clicks and mouse overs on a site?

Any thoughts on the use of heat maps for SEO (to analyze mouse movement, attention and clicks) would be helpful.

I am referring to services like CLICKTALE and Crazy Egg

I've never been in a position to use these kinds of services, but I'd like to. Just waiting for a client to allow me to budget for it...

Mind you, don't think this has much to do with SEO. Optimising, sure, but for humans, not SEs.

I have heard that Crazy Egg is a good one to monitor the stuff happening during page visit on the website.

I haven't really used it, although Google Analytics has some basic data of this sort built in. But it's more useful for ad placement - optimizing your Adsense, that sort of thing. It really has very little to do with SEO.

We have used heat map before but not those you have mentioned.
I forgot the software's name. But we had a testing on it. Testing
which page has a problem (opinion) and which are commonly clicked by the
visitors.
