Can you derive some thoughts which you learn from last year with the help of SEO. It would be great. Nobody can say like i know seo very well because we never no the thought process which is going on in google's mind. So better we derive some analytics and rule the ranking for our respective site but we can't ruled google.
With the launch of instant search, peoples keywords are going to be shortened tenfold, so i guess the newest step in SEO for 2010 would be to shorten all the related keywords for your website.

A thing you must know, Long tail keywords have been affected by Google Instant.
This is true. Instead of aiming for long tails, you aim for synonyms. So if you're targeting "buy alcohol" you should also go for "purchase alcohol" etc!
