Hi,

I used to do the SEO and link swaps for my own websites. That was over 2 years ago now. I've been looking at them recently and noticed Google has dropped one of my main websites http://www.ukpeoplesearch.co.uk . It used to be in the top 3 for UK People Search, now it's not listed and has a Pagerank of 0.

I've kept the site updated, and re-designed it a couple of times over the years.

What should I do to get it back in Google? Link swaps? What are the current rules? Any advice?

when you dropped, has it been completely removed from the index?

So you don't think that being "dropped" shows how truly useless "link swapping" really is then?

you need to change your SEO, try to think of something that Google will reconsider your site back...

start to give seo services to website .you may also use ppc .it will also increse your ranking

well it's still indexed in google, just not in the keyword rankings anymore. Has google found a way to tell if your site link swaps? How best to gather links then?

Google's pretty smart when it comes to link swapping, or so they claim. It's not the best way to build links.

Have you researched your competition?

Did you stop link building your website before? You might get dropped in Google because you stop your link building process for your website.

First you have to select the keyword related contact which is very much google friendly. After that you can go for normal off page activities like directory submission, blog commenting,Social Bookmarking and reciprocal Link building for SEO. Google definitely index your pages as well as your site for a particular keyword.

He didn't say he had been swapping links.

This shows how important on-going SEO is, something a lot of people don't seem to understand. You can't just do some initial SEO and then stop - eventually your competition will catch up.
