Hi,

My website having Alexa ranking down however, I am having good number of visitors than before.

What can be the reason??

Alexa sucks??

All they do is make a "guess" at how much traffic you have.. If you expect, or even want for some strange reason, to have an accurate Alexa ranking you need to sign up and put a tracking pixel on your site..

But really, what would be the point??

Try claiming your site on alexa.com and getting reviews for it.

Well, I think its good to increase your visitors, visits and pageviews, your Alexa Traffic Rank will get increase.

I don't think alexa gives that much perfect results as of Google analytics or other analytics tools such as omniture.
Therefore, do not rely on Alexa and check actual visitors of the website from Google Analytics.

alexa ranking is calculated with the traffic of last 3 months
and the alexa is not very accurate
