Let me that how Alexa Traffic Rank counts???
Whether Based on the Traffic that comes to our site or need to Install Alexa Toolbar????
As i have seen which was mentioned in Alexa.com site (Help System) and doshdosh.com site that to install toolbar for traffic...!

Can anyone Please help me out with this confusion.

Moreover i already installed Alexa and been working from couple of months.....!
Even i had Alexa Widget to my Website.....!
Can you please suggest me my Alexa Rank in last month was 108,560 and probably now it has drop to 115,765 .

Alexa Rank increases depending on the volume of traffic your website is getting. However, information is only based on those who have the Alexa toolbar installed. If you're using a Firefox browser, you may install SEOQuake to see your Alexa ranking.

According to article Alexa ranking is move with the web site traffic of a particular website. If you have installed the toolbar you can definitely know how it moves.

Alexa counts traffic only if the user has the alexa toolbar in his or her browser and normally it is not with them..so alexa is not the final thing to measure traffic in an appropriate way..

This is totally none sense. You don't need all of that stuff just to increase your alexa rank! What does writing something about alexa has to with alexa rank?! alexa rank is just a ranking based on the number of traffic drive to a website.

Hey newbie, if you want to check your Blog/Site’s Alexa rank then go to Alexa Website and hit enter after type your URL. You can also download and install the Toolbar available on the Alexa site which will give you details of a site when you visit it. If you are using Mozilla Firefox then there is an addon which shows the same as a Toolbar. Alexa Sparky is the addon, download and enjoy.
You may wonder how Alexa gets to know about the Traffic stats of my Website/Blog. It is simple it does from those who have installed Alexa Toolbar and browses the site. It is like spying your Blog/Site through the Toolbar. So obviously webmasters will be using the Toolbar more and they will visit the sites related to it quite often. So Blogging/SEO/Social Media blogs always ranks better than other niche sites then comes the Tech. Health and finance are ranked at number 3 and 4 spots respectively.

Alexa is not perfect but still many consider them for advertisement perspectives. If you do not care about Advertisers then just do not care about Alexa.

yahoo rank alexa traffic rank: 4. . but i don't how does google provide rank.

Well, it's right when it comes to how it ranks. But on how it "counts"? I don't think it matters at all.
